At first you might be thinking "wow.. that's random" or "he must be running out of ideas" but the truth is, this came about because I have rude neighbors lol
I always imagined having neighbors over to the house or maybe being friends with them. I always wanted to have that "girl next door" experience. Maybe she was my first kiss? Or simply a crush that'd never be fulfilled? Nope, none of that. When I was little, I didn't know any of my neighbors, and now, at my new home, I WISH I didn't know any of my neighbors! UGH
They're so flipping rude! Here's the deal; I want you, to either, make up or describe your or someone else's rude neighbors! Maybe you're the rude neighbor? Maybe your neighbor's are delightful, but... TOO delightful, or maybe their cat is a serial killer?
Rules:
The title of the poem must be the name of the neighbors. It shouldn't be their real names , it should be a name that's poetic and influenced. Like the the classic "jones" family everyone is secretly trying to be better than. so in this case, that poem would be "The Joneses"
Must be in xAxA (meaning that the odd number lines do not need to [but may] rhyme, however the even numbered lines MUST rhyme.)
minimum of 12 lines (that's 3 stanzas)
It should be funny. if not simply "giggle worthy" it should be witty or ironic. not everyone's humor is the same, but I should see an effort.
deadline... hmmm maybe Sept. 1st 12:00am est? that sounds good.
