I'm terribly sorry for my absence, as mentioned in the previous journal entry. I will be gone again, for some time, and I really am very sorry. BUT I will, leave you with a new theme to write poems for 
Contest: Ask Me This
For this contest, we will be writing REPEATING ACROSTIC poems.
for example:
Snow is a beautiful thing
No two flakes are the same
On a cold winters day, a million could fall
What a beautiful thing.
You'll notice the first line contains the word that the poem actually spells "snow" and the first and last line end in the same three words "a beautiful thing"
For this contest I'll be asking the same for all of you, for the phrase "Ask Me This"
Contest requirements:
All poems must spell the phrase "Ask Me This"
All poems must use "Ask Me This" to start the poem and end the poem.

Ask Me This blah blah
Something
Kangaroo starts with k
Mangoes
Ethiopia
Tomatoes
Hats
Ingrid Michaelson
Something something Ask Me This
Where Your poems differ fro mine will be that your poems should be coherent, and lines really shouldn't be less than three words, if one or two lines ends up as one word, well, that's not a big deal.
A little Twist is that All contestants may submit two poems for this contest! since it is kind of short ya know?

Contest: Ask Me To Write On Summer
Okay, so before everyone freaks out, I haven't forgotten about my need to feature the last winner, I just started a new job and that's not an excuse but whatevs ANYWAY
Summer is a season of mixed emotions. For kids is means no school, ice cream and pool parties. but for adults, especially ones with children, it means more work. It means long days in the muggy hot weather.
But however you feel about summer, one cannot deny that its sunny, and hot (most of the time ;D )
For this poem we'll be writing a variation of a Cinquain. Traditionally, they have five lines, and follow a different pattern. This Pattern I'm creating is of my own design,

All have great merit and one might notice, that I've commented on and Favorited all 3 of them. because they're all worth read (if you haven't)
however, comma, one stood out the most to me (as it must, for there to be a winner) and that, was Mertus's.
For the description of spring as a woman, and for he's love of a simpler, less brutal spring. Of spring still in bed, still groggy from winter :D

So, I was sitting in my livingroom on the Solstices and thought "i have to update the group" clearly I forgot... and its 4 days later yay, sooooo I'm not ready... I've had 3 months, and I'm not ready

Contest: Ask Me About My Rude Neighbors
At first you might be thinking "wow.. that's random" or "he must be running out of ideas" but the truth is, this came about because I have rude neighbors lol
I always imagined having neighbors over to the house or maybe being friends with them. I always wanted to have that "girl next door" experience. Maybe she was my first kiss? Or simply a crush that'd never be fulfilled? Nope, none of that. When I was little, I didn't know any of my neighbors, and now, at my new home, I WISH I didn't know any of my neighbors! UGH
They're so flipping rude! Here's the deal; I want you, to either, make up or describe your or someone else's rude neighbors!
